DGM and CNTU meet to plan measures to mitigate irregular migration
SANTO DOMINGO.- The Director General of Immigration of the Dominican Republic, Vice Admiral Luis Rafael Lee Ballester, ARD, and the president of the National Center of Unified Transporters (CNTU), Williams Pérez Figuereo, held a planning meeting to combat the influx of foreigners with irregular immigration status in the transportation sector.
This was stated by the head of the DGM, reiterating his commitment to complying with Law 285-04, which regulates and regulates migratory flows within the national territory, including entry, residence, and exit, as well as immigration, emigration, and the return of nationals.
For his part, Pérez Figuereo emphasized his commitment to working with Immigration and acquiring the intelligence knowledge and procedures necessary to help combat illegal immigration in the country, starting with the transportation sector.
The meeting was held in the office of the Director of the DGM and was also attended by Johnny Muñoz Ramírez, Williams Aquino, Anglio Quiñones, Wilmer Aquino, and Geovanni Gómez.
