DGM PLACED FLORAL OFFERING AT THE ALTAR OF THE NATION

The General Directorate of Migration (DGM) laid a floral offering in honor of the fathers of the country, to commemorate this month the 178th anniversary of the Dominican National Independence.

The activity took place in the pantheon where the challenges of the Fathers of the Nation rest, Juan Pablo Duarte, Francisco del Rosario Sánchez and Ramón Matías Mella, in the Independencia Park.

The act was led by the deputy director and head of the Department of Immigration Control Elianny Vásquez; the deputy director general Silvestre Ventura and the director of Human Resources Martín Suárez, on behalf of the director general of Immigration Enrique García.

The opening words were given by Elianny Vásquez, who highlighted the sacrifices of the fathers of the country, who assumed the sacrifice to give us a country that we have today.

The deputy director general Silvestre Ventura, highlighted the contributions and sacrifices of the men and women who bequeathed us the Dominican nationality and the commitment we have for the present generation to keep these ideals alive and present.
