immigration requirements

Hi.

Is there a process to enter the Dominican Republic for a person who has been convicted of a criminal offence in their home country?  They have no restrictions on travel as a result.

Thank you.

Good afternoon dear user!

We recommend that you validate your case in your country of origin, since if there is no international alert, you may be admitted.

Is there a way for Dominican Republic Immigration to check if there is an international alert for a specific person if I provide details (privately)?

The country of origin says no restriction on travel but that immigration at the destination would decide on entry because of the past criminal conviction?

Dear user, the procedure to find out if a person has a criminal record or is admitted is carried out in person at the General Directorate of Immigration, headquarters.
