The General Directorate of Migration will bring to justice four foreigners with irregular immigration status who shot a member of that institution in the leg during an interdiction operation in the Piantini sector, in the National District.
The incident occurred when an agent was following a foreigner and when he arrived at the construction site where he was working, he entered with the support of a Navy officer, whom the workers dragged into the hole, took his service weapon, shot him in the thigh and hit him several times.
The foreigners are detained by the Police and will be brought before the court tomorrow, as for the officer, he is recovering in the central hospital of the Armed Forces.
