MAP recognizes DGM employee for his dedication and career.

SANTO DOMINGO.- In the framework of the commemoration of Public Servant Day, Alfonso Rosario Cruz, administrative assistant in the Human Resources area of the General Directorate of Migration (DGM), was recognized for his more than 30 years of exemplary work, of which 25 have been dedicated to this institution.

The recognition took place during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Public Administration (MAP), attended by the head, Sigmund Freund, and Dr. Milagros Ortiz Bosch, of the General Directorate of Ethics and Government Integrity, who highlighted the commitment and dedication of those who have dedicated their lives to public service.

Don Alfonso began his career in the public sector in 1990, in the general services area of the National Lottery, where he worked for four years. Later, in 1999, he was appointed to the DGM, where he continues to perform his duties with impeccable commitment.

Don Alfonso thanked the institution and his superiors, including Vice Admiral Luis Rafael Lee Ballester, ARD, director of the DGM, and Colonel Belkis Asian, PN., director of Human Resources.

After receiving the award, she said: “The General Directorate of Migration is my second family. This recognition not only honors me, but also encourages me to continue working with the same commitment and love for my work.”

The Director of Human Resources of the DGM, Colonel Belkis Asian, PN, accompanied Rosario Cruz during the reception of the award and stated that he has stood out for his dedication and commitment, qualities that make him an example for all the collaborators of the institution. “His constant work, his willingness to always go the extra mile and his loyalty to the institution have been fundamental for this well-deserved recognition,” she said.
