MIGRATION DEPORTED 24,894 UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS IN NOVEMBER. THE RETENTION CENTERS IN HAINA, ELÍAS PIÑA AND DABAJON ARE BEING REPAIRED.

The General Directorate of Migration (DGM) reported that the
interdiction operations against illegal aliens in the country; Likewise, he explained that
repatriation purposes, foreign detainees in irregular migratory conditions are
transferred immediately to the collection center in Dajabón and Elías Piña, to make the
forwarding to the neighboring Haitian nation.Through a press release, the General Director of Migration, Venancio Alcántara,
specified that the actions have not stopped nor will they stop, by instructions of the president
Luis Abinader, and in compliance with the law, immigration regulations, respect for the rights
human rights and international agreements.He said that in the month of October 20,115 illegal aliens were repatriated to their country of
source.He assured that in the month of November 17,000 were deported, another 7,599 repatriated and
2,866 without registering because they left for their country, and one not admitted who intended to enter through
the border with false documents and they proceeded to leave him in the same Haitian territory.In relation to information that refers to the fact that Immigration stopped the deportations, the
institution specified that this has not happened, after indicating that by order of its owner, Venancio
Alcántara, the interdicted are being transferred directly to Elías Piña and Dajabón
to hand them over immediately to the Haitian authorities.He clarified that the note that was recently published, informing that Migration had stopped the
deportations, apparently it was due to the fact that the director ordered the repairs of the centers
