The actions were based on intelligence strategies to identify and apprehend people in an irregular migratory status, and were deployed especially in sectors of Greater Santo Domingo, such as Los Girasoles, Manoguayabo, Bayona, Herrera, Los Cocos, Km. 20 of the Duarte Highway (entrance to Merca Santo Domingo), Ciudad Satélite, Arroyos de Palma Real, Canción and Cruce de Mendoza (Santo Domingo Este), Mendoza (through the entrance to Charles de Gaulle Avenue and the entrance to Los Alcarrizos, among others).

The objective is to enforce the rules on immigration regulation and control in the country, as established by Law 285-04 and its implementing regulations.
