Cita de departamento de comunicaciones en febrero 10, 2025, 3:42 pmSANTO DOMINGO.- The General Directorate of Migration formalized a training program, which included inductions in Risk Management and first aid, so that immigration control agents can guarantee efficient and timely responses to emergency situations.
The activity is part of the training process that the DGM applies to new talents who will go out into the streets to enforce the regulations of Law 285-04, which orders and regulates migratory flows in the national territory.
The main objective of this training was to transmit basic knowledge in first aid and in the management of initial responses to emergencies, thus strengthening the skills necessary for pre-hospital care.
In addition, an introduction to risk management was provided, aimed at helping participants understand the legal dynamics in force in the country, based on the Constitution and derived laws.
These inductions allowed the agents to learn about the regulatory framework designed to ensure risk management in the Dominican Republic.
The training was conducted by experts in the field, including Juan Alberto Marmolejos, Occupational Health and Safety advisor, and David Rafael Vicente Fabián, from the Training and Drills Division of the Directorate of Extra-hospital Emergency Services .
