Staying Extension
We are retired Canadians with valid Canadian passports. We realize that to stay in the Dominican Republic as a tourist for more than 30 days and up to 120 days we need to submit a Staying Extension form online but how can we stay as a tourist for 6 months?

In that case, the only thing that can be done is request another Staying Extension, and that one will count from the expiration of the previous one.

- Copy of the passport page where the biometric data is.
- Stamp of the date of the last entry to the country.
- Return boarding pass.

The problem we have with requesting the extension is that when we use the online portal there appears to be two more requirements : A medical certification and Financial solvency. We can't submit the request unless all 5 documents are added. Is this an error in the information posted on the Staying Extension or is there something not working properly with the online portal?
Hi! For some reason I try to complete the personal information section to request an extension, but when I click "continue" nothing happens. I've double checked my information so I'm not sure what's wrong. Has this happened before?
