The Director General of Migration held a working meeting with representatives of the hotel and construction sectors in the district of Ver贸n, Punta Cana, to listen to their needs in immigration matters and propose solutions.
Enrique Garc铆a said that in this meeting a solution will be sought so that foreign employees can begin the procedures that are required to obtain the necessary documents.
The representatives of the tourism and construction sectors have asked the General Directorate of Migration for actions to regularize these foreign workers.
The president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism Projects of the East, Ernesto Veloz, described this meeting as positive, which seeks to regularize foreign employees in the area.
