More than a year ago the DGM received ISO 9001 international quality certification

SANTO DOMINGO. For efficiency and quality management at the airports, the QSI gave the General Directorate of Immigration a certificate for operational excellence and continuous improvement in the services offered by the institution.

The QSI recognizes the efforts of Migration and its collaborators who have contributed to strengthening the quality management of the air terminals of the Dominican Republic.

In addition, the international organization, which certifies international quality standards, awarded diplomas to personnel who completed an audit course.

Venancio Alcántara explained that since he arrived at the General Directorate of Migration, his purpose has been to continue modernizing internal processes and continue being a model institution.

He congratulated the collaborators for their efforts so that the DGM obtains the results achieved with the quality management certification of the airports, which is the fundamental objective of President Luis Abinader and urged them to continue their very productive work.

In March of last year, Migration achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, which endorses the institution as an efficient and transparent manager of the services it provides to the user.
