Migration agents apprehend Jeepeta and driver was transporting 13 illegal Haitians

Santo Domingo, RD.- Agents of the General Directorate of Migration (DGM), in coordination with effective
soldiers from the Joint Task Force intercepted and seized a Jeepeta with 13 nationals
Illegal Haitians, who, when seized, did not carry documents proving that they were foreigners
regularly in the country.

The actions were carried out through a pursuit that ended with the arrest of the vehicle
in the vicinity of the Intelligencer checkpoint, Los Pilones de Azua, where he was intercepted

Mr. Esterlín Ramírez, ID 001-1277397-3, led by Mr. Carlos Manuel Matos Alcántara,
ID 014-0023103-9, inside which was carrying 13 Haitian nationals with immigration status
irregular.

The undocumented were sent to the Haina Reception and Detention Center, in order to exhaust
the corresponding procedure for their subsequent repatriation, while the driver of the vehicle

the movement of illegal aliens in the country, regardless of nationality, while recalling that due to
