The general director of Migration, Venancio Alcántara, held a meeting with the staff
administrative staff of the institution, including all directors and managers of endowments
disseminated at the national level, with the objective of adopting strategies that allow maintaining
and continue streamlining the actions carried out against the migratory flow
irregular in the country and the development of services to Dominican citizens and
foreign.
During the meeting, the official gave specific instructions regarding the tasks
administrative procedures that are carried out throughout the national geography, to continue improving the
services of the institution within the framework of migration policies promoted by the government
of President Luis Abinader.
In the same way, Alcántara listened to the concerns of the department managers, and
administrative managers at the national level, in order to detect weaknesses and strengthen the
action plans launched by the current management at the helm of Migration.
They agreed, among other points, to continuously monitor the routine operations that
carried out throughout the country, provide the appropriate information to the Interdiction Team
Immigration created for these purposes and ensure that the law is complied with without incurring in excesses.
