In addition, the interdiction vehicles, which are monitored by a GPS system, have been adapted to transport foreigners more comfortably.
In the last two years, under the direction of Venancio Alcántara, five large foreign processing centers have been built in Haina, San Cristóbal province, Santiago, Dabajón, Elias Piña, Jimani, Independencia province and Benerito, Higuey, La Altagracia province, where the detained foreigners stay for a short time and are repatriated.
