RESIDENCE CARD FOR CURRENT LOSS
Foreigner with current immigration status, who has lost his Residence Card.

ORDINARY TEMPORARY RESIDENCE (RT-9)
Temporary residence permit for foreigners entering the Dominican Republic with the purpose of temporarily residing in the country. The validity of this permit is for one (1) year.

TEMPORARY RESIDENCE FOR RELIGIOUS (RT-4)
Residence permit for foreigners entering the Dominican Republic for religious or missionary purposes, exclusively. The validity of this permit is for one (1) year.

Foreigner with a Temporary Work Residence card, expired or due to expire within thirty (30) days before the expiration date.

ORDINARY TEMPORARY RESIDENCE RENEWAL (RT-9)
Ordinary Temporary Residence Renewal (RT-9), for a period of one (1) year.

PERMANENT RESIDENCE RENEWAL (RP-1)
Renewal of Permanent Residence (RP-1), for a period of (4) four years.

RESIDENCE FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENT
Residence permit for foreigners entering the Dominican Republic for the purpose of making investments, exclusively. The validity of this permit is for one (1) year.

PERMANENT RESIDENCE APPLICATION (RP-1)
Change of immigration status to Permanent Resident (RP-1). It is an extension of the residence permit, for five (5) years, granted to that foreigner who has fulfilled the condition of Annual Renewal of his Ordinary Temporary Residence Permit (RT-9), during five (5) years of residence.

Change of immigration status to Definitive Resident (RD-1). It is an extension of the residence permit, for an additional ten (10) years.
