Service description
Certify the validity of residence for the purpose of applying for nationality by family reunification through parents. Written document certifying the validity of the residence.

Requirements
For the issuance of this certification the foreigner must have six (06) months, minimum of having obtained any type of residence.
1- Letter of request for certification addressed to the DGM聽, You must specify the type of certification you require.
2- Certification form acquired in DGM,聽duly filled in print;聽The signature and fingerprints must be placed before an immigration officer at the corresponding window.
3- Copy of the applicant’s residence card.
4- Copy digital passport face where personal data are.
5- Copy of the applicant’s Personal Identity Card.
6- Copy of the birth certificate.
7- Copy of the Identity and Electoral Card of the parents.
Note:聽This service must be requested exclusively by the interested foreigner or by representation through duly legalized power of attorney.聽(Article 125 of regulation 631-11 for the application of law 285-04 on migration).
Procedure to follow
1. Enter the DGM service portal.聽(聽https://personal.migracion.gob.do/聽)
1.1. Register in the system (if you are registered, enter your username and password)
1.2. Choose the “list of certifications” option, from the list of available services, choose the one you requested, and complete the required information on the forms.
2-聽The scanned documents must be in .jpg format for the application via web.
3-聽Present to the DGM with the original documentation plus a complete set of copies.
